About Time:

About time technology is incorporated into G-Code Programming.

About G-Code Programming and CNC Construct:

G-Code Programming is also known as Manual CNC Programming.

G-Code programs are comprised of three sections that make up 99% - 100% of the program:

  1. Cutter motion and cutter coordinate commands
  2. Cutter on and cutter off commands
  3. Program beginning, program end, and tool change commands

Regarding #1: By assigning motion to CAD generated points and lines, CNC Construct can generate the first section of the G-Code program.

Regarding #2: By inserting the cutter on and cutter off commands, CNC Construct can generate the second section of the G-Code program.

Regarding #3: By inserting the program beginning, program end, and tool change commands from user editable template files, CNC Construct can generate the third section of the G-Code program.

Regarding the final 1% of the G-Code program, CNC Construct does include a text editor that can be used to enter canned cycles, comments, tool numbers, feed rates, spindle speeds, etc.

About the Market

According to a press release by CIMdata, the worldwide CAD/CAM software market was estimated to be $1.76 billion in 2014. Because the technogy was not developed and available, not one penny went towards G-Code programming software like CNC Construct. Obviously, this market is wide open!
