CNC : acronym for Computer Numerical Control, refers specifically to a computer "controller" that reads G-code instructions and drives a machine tool

Construct : (noun) an abstract or general idea inferred or derived from specific instances, (verb) create by linking linguistic units, e.g., construct a sentence; construct a block of G-code

CNC Construct^TM : the Future of Manual G-code Programming.

From the beginning of time: "NC" and its evolution to "CNC," a solution to the many problems of manual programming (excessive time, math, and errors, and lack of tool path verification) has been needed. Although expensive automatic programming technologies have been developed, beginning with language based programming, then CAD/CAM, followed most recently with the development of conversational controllers, nobody has addressed the problems of manual G-code programming.

To engineer a solution to these problems, one must view the G-code programs from a different perspective. This has been accomplished and documented in : Introducing CNC Construct^TM. This technical report presents the groundwork for CNC Construct. (Requires Adobe Reader)
